My name is Sara and my girlfriend's name is Ashley
We are both 20 and we've been together for one year, five months and five days.

Our song would be "Unforgettable" as sung by Nat King Cole and Natalie Cole. A few weeks after we met, we were at a show and during intermission...a man on stage was singing the song I took the flower I had, used it as a microphone, and sang it to her.

We met during spring quarter of our first year of college. We had taken the same philosophy class..and a few weeks into it, she sat next to me in the lecture hall and we struck up a conversation. We continued sitting next to one another every day...saving a seat for the other if they were late...and eventually I asked her if she would like to see a movie with me...thank God she said yes...and...things progressed from there!

My first impression of Ash was that she was a free spirit. A hot free spirit. Because she had pink in her hair and wore mismatching things that went together because she had the confidence to pull it off.

Answering the "why I love her" part is something that I would never be able to finish answering. As cheesy as it sounds, it's true that I find new things to love about her every day. She is sweet, caring, loving, smart, gorgeous, cuddly, sexy, original, selfless, crazy.....and on and on....I love the way she makes me feel when we're together, and I love the way we talk and work through things.
We want to spend the rest of our lives together....get married after we're both through with school...and hopefully *fingers crossed* after Bush is out of office...some same-sex union rights will have been established.
